1. About Hostee

Hostee is an online venue marketplace operated by Dreamloft Labs LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in India, with offices in Bangalore (Karnataka) and Guwahati (Assam). The platform connects venue owners ("Hosts") with individuals and organisations seeking spaces for events ("Users").

By accessing or using Hostee — whether as a Host, a User, or a visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Definitions

• Platform — the Hostee website, mobile web experience, and any associated services.
• Host — any individual or entity that lists a venue on the Platform.
• User — any individual who browses, enquires about, or books a venue through the Platform.
• Lead — an enquiry submitted by a User expressing interest in a venue.
• Subscription / Plan — a paid plan purchased by a Host to list and manage their venue on the Platform.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into contracts under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. By using the Platform you represent that these conditions are met. Dreamloft Labs LLP reserves the right to terminate accounts that do not satisfy eligibility requirements.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@hostee.co.in if you suspect unauthorised access.

You agree not to create accounts using false information, impersonate any person, or use automated means to create multiple accounts.

5. Host Obligations

As a Host, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your venue, including capacity, pricing, and facilities.
• Honour enquiries and respond to Users within a reasonable time.
• Ensure your venue complies with all applicable local laws, fire safety regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Not list venues you do not own or have authority to list.
• Not solicit Users to transact outside the Platform to circumvent Hostee's service.

Hostee reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these obligations or our content standards, with or without prior notice.

6. User Obligations

As a User, you agree to:

• Submit enquiries only for genuine event requirements.
• Provide accurate event details, guest counts, and contact information in Lead submissions.
• Not misuse the enquiry system to harvest Host contact details.
• Respect the Host's venue rules and any agreed terms at the time of booking.

7. Bookings and Payments

Hostee is a marketplace and facilitator. All payments for venue hire are made directly between Users and Hosts — Hostee does not collect or process event booking payments on behalf of Hosts. Any financial disputes arising from a venue booking are between the User and the Host.

Hostee takes zero commission on venue bookings. The Platform earns revenue solely through Host subscription plans.

8. Subscription Plans

Hosts may purchase a subscription plan to access listing features on Hostee. By purchasing a plan you enter into a binding agreement with Dreamloft Labs LLP under the following conditions:

• Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing or plan period, after which your venue listing will be deactivated.
• Refunds: All subscription fees are non-refundable. Once a plan is activated — whether by the Host directly or by an administrator — no refund will be issued for unused periods. This policy applies regardless of whether the plan was used in full. By purchasing a plan, you acknowledge and accept this as part of a mutual contractual agreement.
• Plan changes: Upgrades and downgrades, where available, take effect at the next billing cycle or as otherwise communicated.
• Auto-unpublish: Listings are automatically deactivated when a subscription expires. Dreamloft Labs LLP is not liable for any loss of leads or business resulting from plan expiry.

9. Prohibited Activities

You must not use the Platform to:

• Publish false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
• Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Distribute spam, malware, or engage in phishing.
• Scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the Platform without prior written consent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under Indian law.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including the Hostee name, logo, design, copy, and software — is the exclusive property of Dreamloft Labs LLP or its licensors and is protected under applicable Indian intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose only.

By submitting content (venue photos, descriptions, etc.) to the Platform, you grant Dreamloft Labs LLP a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, reproduce, and display such content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Dreamloft Labs LLP does not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not verify or vouch for the accuracy of venue listings beyond our standard review process.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dreamloft Labs LLP and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Platform.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamloft Labs LLP, its partners, officers, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of a third party.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

Before initiating formal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days from the date of written notice of the dispute.

15. Modifications to Terms

Dreamloft Labs LLP reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
